Friendly staff and a very lively place. It gets super crowded, so you need a bit of patience, but the wait is totally worth it. The food is delicious, rich in flavor, and very satisfying. Prices are affordable and the portions are filling. Really hope the second floor opens soon. Even before it was officially opened to the public, I have already been here five times, and the waiting list keeps getting longer because so many people want to try it. Wishing continued success to Ci Cindy and Ko Ridwan.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WARUNGNYA WAWAN – Puri Now open in the Puri area, Warungnya Wawan is a heartwarming Indonesian comfort food spot that truly feels earned. I’ve been following their journey from the very beginning—starting with online orders, moving through bazaars, and now finally opening their own brick-and-mortar restaurant. Seeing how far they’ve come is genuinely impressive. The space is cozy, humble, and homey, with subtle traditional warung touches that give it an authentic, comforting character. It feels welcoming, unpretentious, and true to its roots. I’ve long been a fan of their Indonesian staples—Nasi Kuning, Nasi Ulam, Nasi Bakar, and Nasi Liwet—and now they’ve introduced a new DIY custom concept that’s a total win for me. You can freely pair your choice of carbs with proteins and condiments, perfectly tailored to your appetite and preferences. Standout dishes: Empal Sapi – Legitimately meaty and tender Rendang Sapi – Super tender, deeply flavorful, and effortless to chew Tempe Mendoan – A special mention is a must. Perfectly cooked—not underdone, not overdone—with the ideal batter consistency. Comforting, well-seasoned, and beautifully paired with a legit, balanced bumbu kacang. Easily one of the finest mendoan in town. Keripik Kentang – Instantly addictive Ayam Goreng – Solid and satisfying Nasi Kuning – Fragrant and comforting Don’t miss the JUMBO iced tea—only IDR 12K and free-flow. Absolute steal. My DIY “Nasi Kuning Super Mevvah” was my personal definition of porsi kuli—loaded with all my chosen proteins, deeply satisfying, and exactly the kind of comfort food I could happily eat every day. Clean, elevated, yet still soulful Indonesian cooking. A must-visit for anyone craving honest, well-executed Indonesian comfort food.

RECOMMENDED EATERY IN WEST JAKARTA for traditional rice dishes like nasi kuning, nasi uduk, nasi urap, etc! The space is comfortable and most importantly the food is tasty. The flavour of the toppings is balanced, and the rice is so aromatic. The gorengan is good, bakwan jagungnya yang very gepeng kind. Super crunchy but I like the slightly thicker one with more juicy crunch from the corn Ordering was quite simple from the QR code, but hopefully they can improve on the order taking flow and system to avoid confusion among the staff. Will be back!

Came here because of the hype. When we arrived, there was already a long wait for a table, which is pretty normal for a newly hyped place. But unfortunately, the food also took quite a while to come out (around 40–45 minutes). Portions are okay, but not as big as they look on social media. Overall, the food was just okay. We ordered nasi ulam, nasi uduk, nasi kuning, and nasi bakar ayam cakalang. The fried chicken was neither tender nor juicy. On the plus side, the drink portions are generous, the interior is nice, and the staff are friendly. -------------- Big improvement! The food came out in about 15 minutes this time, and the portions are bigger now. Everything was yummy. However, there were quite a lot of flies, and the stairs looked a bit dirty.

Just tried today. Near OCBC bank. Parking slot very limited better to park at ruko where kindee located. Was 4th person que. but at the end some customer cancelled so we could get the seat earlier. Ordered - nasi kuning ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - bakwan jagung ⭐⭐⭐ (too crispy) - tempe mendoan ⭐⭐⭐ - kunyit asem drink ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Affordable. Delicious. Awesome service. We found little hair and just would like the owner to know but at the end they gave us take away. Really dont need it. But it shows they took our complaint as serious voice to improve their service. Which quite rare now. Special compliments to their restroom. Hahaha Clean and prepare some amenities as well Thanks.
